Ready to go straight out of the box, this wood-fired oven just needs a suitable base somewhere in your garden, or it can be set up on a stand, which is also included. Preheating the oven with the fire will take just over an hour, which gives you plenty of time to do all your prep work and have a beer.

“What started with an order of 200 chainsaws has grown to a business with more than 30,000 power tools sold last year,” he said.
This futuristic-looking option has an external burner, which you can load with wood to get cooking in about 20 minutes, or turn on the gas if you want to get going quicker. There’s room enough for an 11-inch pizza and there’s no need for turning once it’s in as the heat spreads evenly in the chamber so that you can have a crispy base in around two minutes and a slightly doughier one in 90 seconds. The silicone outer layer, which comes in green and grey, means that you never have to worry about burnt fingers and at only 20kg and coming with a carry strap, it’s a truly portable pizza experience.
For many years, there wasn’t a lot of call for genital reconstruction or penis transplant, for two reasons. One, there weren’t as many big explosives buried. Now, in Iraq and Afghanistan, there are really big, buried explosives and if you step on one, it’s not like a land mine in WWII, where it blows off just a foot. They are big enough to blow off the whole leg and damage the pelvic region. Normally, with that kind of injury, you would not survive. But today, the medevacs are faster and trauma care is better. So, more men are surviving who need reconstructive work.
After months of planning, experimenting with recipes and grappling with city regulations, Casper’s newest food truck was ready to make its debut.
Inside the restaurant is an old and rusting deck oven that had been a part of the restaurant for decades—long before either Journeymen or its predecessor, Canele, existed. It was exactly the kind of oven he’d handled at his first job in a pizza joint—at Andrea’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a family restaurant owned by a couple named Mario and Rose. Mario, Wilcox recalls, was a stout and hairy Italian man who was fiercely protective of his handmade sausage recipe. Wilcox pays tribute to his former bosses with a sausage pizza on his menu called Mario & Rose(mary). It’s been their best seller. “When I [was at Andrea’s], they’d been working there for over 30 years,” Wilcox said. “They did so well with that pizza place—they only had one—that they bought a million-dollar house, straight cash. From a pizza restaurant. They did just fine. That place would rock, maybe like 250 to 300 [pizzas] a night out of a couple of these [old ovens], just like this.”

The oven accommodates a seven-inch pizza and with a couple of turns with a pizza paddle you’ll get a crispy base, perfectly puffy crusts and well-cooked toppings in around two minutes. The oven comes with two different lengths of detachable legs, stubby and long, so you can set it up easily at home or go mobile and use it like a portable BBQ at the beach. The range is cast in a number of bright colours from azure blue to lava red.
Please excuse language! I drive 537 miles a day so I see many wild things on the road but absolutely nothing this…
We like the cylindrical design as an alternative to domed ovens, which can be a bit tricky to build. An oven may be a bit low-tech compared to some of Hackaday’s usual fare, but they can be no less difficult to get right. We’re no stranger to novel flame-based cookery, perhaps you might like to also take a look at this rocket grill.
Mathias Tibesigwa, a driving instructor, advises short drivers to always push their driver seats forward to enable their feet touch the pedals but also use cushions or adjust your seat to view ahead.“When you do not push the driver seat forward and you choose to only steer as you view where you are going, there is a likelihood that at some point you will stretch your neck. By so doing, your feet lose contact with the pedals. At the end of the day, you could fidget and step on the accelerator thinking it is the brake or clutch or step on the brake thinking it is the accelerator as you drive forward or control the car,” Tibesigwa explains.
